Nigerians living in London who have converged at the Nigeria High Commission to enroll for the Bank Verification Number were disappointed on Thursday july 16 as they were not enroll.
It was learnt that the centre which was
flooded by Nigerians who have accounts back home got so choke-up leading to a chaotic situation. The situation degenerated to an extend where the police were invited in to control things.

A disappointed Nigerian who did not disclose his identity said: ” They allowed us converge on the street and then locked us out. We are also being forced to pay £30.00 each but none of the officials or the website can explain what the money is for. Is it not free in Nigeria?“
