PDP loses nine senators to opposition parties

Not less than nine Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators on Tuesday dumped the party for other political parties, reports Punch.
The decision of some of the senators to defect to the
opposition parties was the aftermath of the PDP primaries, which was allegedly hijacked by some state governors in conjunction with the national leadership of the PDP .

The aggrieved PDP senators defected to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Labour Party and Peoples Progressives Alliance (PPA).
