Mimiko emerges chairman of PDP Governors' Forum

Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has emerged as the new Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) Governors' Forum,
, reports Punch.

He replaces former Akwa Ibom State governor, Godswill Akpabio, who is now a senator.

Nine out of the party’s governors endorsed Mimiko to lead the forum.

The PDP governors are expected to meet in Abuja next week to ratify Mimiko’s appointment.
